Changes to Cashless Service

Payment processors have changed compliance requirements for EMV certified cashless readers in unattended retail. As a result, we will be removing “tap” functionality from any Seed or ePort device that is not EMV contactless compliant on December 1st, 2022. 

To make the transition easier for our customers, Cantaloupe is providing special pricing for operators who would like to upgrade their devices.

We encourage operators to to upgrade their impacted devices EMV-compliant card readers to enjoy the full benefits of contactless payment acceptance and increased security that comes with the upgraded technology.
